Your public profile shows what you choose to make public: your username, display name, bio, location if you add one, your public pieces, and your public activity.
Your birthday, phone number, and email are private. Only you can see them.
If you upload a private piece, only you can see it. If you share a piece via DM, the recipient can see it, because you shared it.
Resonance is built on Supabase (database + file storage) and Vercel (hosting). Both are industry-standard services. Your data stays within those platforms unless you delete it.
Voice clips you send in DMs can be transcribed on request. Transcripts are stored on our servers and are visible only to you and the recipient.
We use minimal cookies: just what's needed to keep you logged in. No tracking, no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics that identify you personally.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Danger zone. That wipes your profile, your pieces, your comments, your messages, everything.
You can request an export of your data by messaging the team. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Resonance is designed to be safe for composers as young as 13. We take child safety seriously. If you see anything that concerns you, report it and we'll look into it immediately.
Questions about your data? Message us through the platform.
This is a plain-language privacy document, not legal advice. We may update it as the platform grows.
