Resonance is a platform for composers to publish original music. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform. Simple.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Resonance. If you're under 18, make sure a parent or guardian is okay with you using the platform.
You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your login. If someone gets into your account and does something stupid, that's on you.
You own everything you upload. Every piece, every score, every note you've ever written stays yours. Resonance doesn't claim any rights to your work.
By uploading, you give us permission to display your music on the platform and to store it on our servers. That's it. We won't sell it, license it, or use it to train anything.
Original music only. No covers, no arrangements of copyrighted work, no samples you don't have rights to. If you didn't write it, don't post it.
No hateful content, no harassment, no spam, no scams, no impersonation. If we find it, we'll remove it and possibly remove your account permanently.
Reviews on Resonance are meant to be honest and constructive. Critique the music, not the person is much supported. Personal attacks, doxxing, and harassment will get you removed permanently.
We believe in a growth environment where composers can learn and compose better pieces gradually. Let's be respectful.
You can block, report, or mute anyone you need to. If someone reports you and we find you've been breaking these rules, your account may be suspended or deleted.
Resonance is being built in real time. Features come and go. Bugs happen. If something breaks, we'll fix it. But we can't promise the platform will always be perfect.
Resonance is provided as-is. We're not responsible if your music gets lost, if you don't get the feedback you were hoping for, or if another user does something you don't like. We'll do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we make no promises.
Questions? Message us and our brilliant team through the platform. We read everything.
This is a plain-language terms document, not legal advice. We may update it as the platform grows.
